ADMINISTRATION TEAM
Practice Manager
Mrs Julia Markendale is our practice manager and is responsible for the general management and administration of the practice. She is supported by our reception supervisor, Mrs J Young.
Reception/Secretarial Staff
We have six members of reception/secretarial staff with at least three on duty at each surgery at any one time. They will help you make appointments, take requests for home visits, advise you if your test
results/hospital reports have arrived, process repeat prescription requests, etc.
If you have any queries relating to any of the services/clinics available please ask our reception staff for advice.
Community Midwife
Our community midwife holds a clinic on a Friday at the surgery and appointments can be made through reception. You will be provided with an appointment at the time of your hospital booking. A maternity pack will be given at your first midwife appointment.
Community Alcohol Team
We have a practice-based community alcohol counsellor who is here on a Wednesday morning. If you require help in getting treatment please arrange an appointment to see your doctor who will arrange this for you.
Community Drugs Team
If you require help in getting treatment with a drug-related problem please book an appointment with your doctor who will discuss this with you and arrange for the required assistance.
